EVERY PERSON IS OF SACRED WORTH. EVERY PERSON DESERVES TO BE FREE.

Here at Neighborhood Church, our justice ministries are at the heart of our mission to make a tangible impact in our community. Through our various initiatives, we strive to address the systemic issues that perpetuate inequality and injustice. Our dedicated volunteers actively engage in advocacy efforts, collaborating with local organizations to champion the rights of marginalized individuals and communities. We offer educational workshops and training sessions that equip our congregation with the tools and knowledge to become advocates for positive change. By actively working towards dismantling unjust structures, promoting equality, and advocating for the voiceless, we embody the core principles of justice and compassion that Neighborhood Church stands for.

What do we want? Justice. When do we want it? Now.

We believe that being constant seekers of justice is a core tenet of Christian community. We highlight different justice focuses throughout the year while also collaborating and supporting many incredible community partners working for justice in the city of Atlanta and beyond as part of our Justice For All Neighbors initiative.

Discover the Heart of Community at NeighborFEST

NeighborFEST is Neighborhood Church ATL's vibrant quarterly initiative that invites the community to explore the dynamic intersection of justice and faith. Every quarter, we gather a diverse mix of businesses and organizations from the Greater Atlanta area for an afternoon filled with fun, fellowship, and meaningful engagement in justice. This is your chance to bask in the sunshine of community spirit, connect with grassroots organizations seeking volunteers, sign impactful petitions, and support local businesses—all while enjoying delicious treats from our handpicked food vendors. NeighborFEST is more than just an event; it's an opportunity to make a difference, meet like-minded individuals, and enjoy a day of joy and solidarity. Join us for our next gathering and be part of the movement towards a more equitable and connected community!

The Solidarity Fund supports restorative practices, wealth redistribution, and groups organizing for justice, with a focus on solidarity with BIPOC and LGBTQIASGL communities in the Atlanta area. This enables our community to follow the vision of the prophet Isaiah to seek to become “Menders of Broken Walls and Restorers of Livable Streets” (Is 58:12). Working closely with our Director of Restorative Practices, Kylan Pew, the Solidarity Fund Team identifies ways to express our commitments by focusing on quarterly themes--such as literacy, anti-oppression work with LGBTQIASGL individuals and communities, criminal justice reform, health and wellness, and environmental justice—that direct our gifts of time and money in tangible, transformative ways.
