Weekly Worship
Resurrection does not create something out of nothing. Rather, it makes whole and transforms something that is no longer thriving. Resurrection unleashes God's transformative power of love in the world in a whole new way. How can we be deeply connected with the way of Christ to share in unleashing that power of love through our own lives? By the mysterious and creative power of Divine Love, a new opportunity…a new life…a new way comes alive.
These new lives, new opportunities, and new ways unleash love into the world! We can co-create with God and let this love work - around us, in us, and through us! Worship with us Sundays at 11 am, in person or online.

Life Mapping
WHEN: Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm
WHERE: The Gathering Place (Lower level)
Registration Deadline is Thursday, April 25
Despite all the multimedia ways the word “storytelling” is used these days, the oral tradition of speaking our stories to each other is our most ancient form of communication, culture-transmission, and persuasion.
In this workshop, Shannon M. Turner, Founder & Creative Director of StoryMuse, will guide us through a progression of storytelling basics, including structure, vulnerability, details, and change. Participants will practice deep listening and draw life maps! Ultimately, we will be cultivating and practicing our personal stories in order to get to know each other as Neighbors, and to get better at communicating and conveying our journeys with faith, spirit, resilience, and empathy.

Current Series: The Color Purple - Lenten Letters of Resilience, Connection, and Joy
Together we will explore the themes of resilience and joy through the lens of connecting with the Spirit. Drawing inspiration from Alice Walker's "The Color Purple," we will delve into the idea that God is not limited to a specific gender or form but can be found within ourselves and the world around us. This series will encourage our congregation to discover their inner strength, foster a deeper connection with the divine, and cultivate a sense of resilience and joy even in the face of adversity.

GROW:kids
For the spring of 2024, GROW:kids will be a "right after worship" timeframe (roughly 12:30pm to 2:30pm). We will have lunch, learn more about the Bible through stories, drama, and activities like games and crafts. Each month we will have a different engaging theme - and our hope is that GROW:kids is a safe and fun place for kids roughly in Pre-K through 5th grade. Let us know you’re coming here!

Homecalling
homecalling is an evening of worship and reflection, led by our Neighborhood Church musicians. It's a great experience for folks who are looking for an inclusive, progressive worship experience focused around music, rather than centered around a sermon moment. All of who you are is welcome here.
